The NSW Owner Builder Course - is approved by NSW Fair Trading and is mandatory for all owner builder applicants where the work is more than $20,000.
When do I need an Owner Builder Permit?
As per NSW Fair Trading :
An Owner Builder Permit is required when doing any work (including supervision and co-ordination) involved in the construction of, or alterations, repairs or additions to, a dwelling (which includes a house, terrace, town-house, garage, swimming pool and certain other structures and improvements) which exceeds $20,000 (including material and labour).
This course was designed for those persons wishing to become owner builders in NSW.
